Welcome to my site! My name is Marianne Schultz and I’m a gadget geek who loves to spread the geekiness around and educate and inform others about current technology. I love cell phones, PDAs, and GPS devices primarily, and can usually work up some drool for other shiny objects as well (.mp3 players, torches, and the like). I’ve written a couple of reviews in the past for The Gadgeteer and also contribute to Just Another iPhone Blog. I’m happy to say that writing about technology is now my full-time job (I used to work in HR - not fun at all). I welcome requests for specific product reviews and/or sample products to review (see my Review Policies below). Policies
Do you have a product you'd like to have reviewed by
macgirl.net? If so, my product review guidelines and policies are
below.
Product types:
- Primary focus on software and accessories for all Apple(TM) products
- Other consumer electronics items and accessories are also accepted, though please contact me in advance to ensure I have the systems and/or resources to review your product (e.g., I do not accept software for Microsoft Windows since I do not have Windows-based computers on which to test)
- Product must be final version to be shipped to consumers (no beta products)
Review policies:
- Items submitted for review are not returned
- While I try to review products in an expedient manner, there is no guarantee on the timeframe of the completion of the review, or even if a review will be completed on the product submitted
- Completed/draft reviews will not be distributed prior to publication on macgirl.net. Every attempt is made to complete unbiased and accurate reviews. If any factual errors are made, they will be corrected as soon as possible.
- Any response to a product review submitted by the product's manufacturer/distributor/agent may or may not be published at the sole discretion of macgirl.net.
